I grew up in Mobile Alabama. Mobile sits on the Gulf of Mexico and the Mobile Bay. As a youth I used to watch cargo ships come into the port of Mobile, loaded with thousands of containers on board. Now I'm in the business of selling cargo containers. Who would have thought? There are basically two types of containers. Steel and Aluminum. Steel containers are for sea going shipments, and aluminum is used for domestic shipments. But did you you realize that shipping containers have a wide variety of uses. That's what this blog is really all about. I want to introduce you to the variety of uses for the seabox. Keep in mind that containers are some of the best engineered designs known to mankind. Just look around in the room you are sitting and realize that at some point,most of the items in the room where once shipped in a cargo container. So if its strong enough to ship cars from Japan to the US. Its strong enough to store construction materials on job site.
